When you use Yummeo (whether you are a registered user or not):

• Search Queries: To generate your recipes using OpenAI's technology.
• Anonymous Technical Data: Such as your anonymized IP address, through Google Analytics to understand platform usage.

When you register and log in:

You can create an account using third-party services. We only request essential information.

• With Google: We collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create and personalize your account.
• With Apple (Sign in with Apple): We collect your name and email address. If you choose "Hide My Email," we will receive a unique, private email address generated by Apple.

We never see or store your passwords for these services.

When you subscribe to Yummeo Premium:

• Purchase Information: The payment and subscription process is managed entirely by the Apple App Store. We receive an anonymous payment confirmation (a "digital receipt") to verify your Premium status. We do not collect or store your credit card details or billing information.

When you participate in the Community:

• User-Generated Content (UGC): Any content you post (photos, text, comments, likes, follower lists) is collected to be displayed publicly. You are solely responsible for this content.
• License to Use: By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and distribute your content within the Yummeo platform and in promotional materials for the service.

2. Use of Cookies and Advertising

We use essential cookies for functions like keeping you logged in. For non-premium users, we use Google AdSense to display ads, which may use advertising cookies to show relevant content. Premium users do not see these ads.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your data. We only share necessary information with technology partners for Yummeo to function:

• OpenAI: For recipe generation.
• Google (Analytics and AdSense): For analytics and advertising.
• Apple (App Store): To manage subscriptions.

4. Your Rights and Control Over Your Data

You have the right to:

• Access and Rectify: You can edit your profile information in the "My Account" section.
• Delete Your Account: You can delete your account and all your data from the "My Account" section or by contacting us. Account deletion is irreversible.
• Manage Content: You can delete your posts and comments at any time.

5. Data Security and Retention

We use standard security measures (like HTTPS encryption) to protect your data. We will retain your information as long as your account is active and as required by our legal obligations.

6. Children's Privacy

Yummeo is not intended for children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us to have it removed.
